A guest lecture on “The Immunological Basis of Cardiometabolic Disease” was organized by the Department of Pharmacology, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, on 17th June 2025 at the Pharmacology Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Dr. Prabhakara Nagareddy, Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, USA, and was attended by 50 participants, including faculty, Ph.D. scholars, and M. Pharm students. The lecture provided valuable insights into the immunological mechanisms involved in cardiometabolic disorders, emphasizing inflammatory responses and metabolic dysregulation. The session encouraged interactive scientific discussion, enhancing participants’ understanding and research perspective on cardiometabolic disease management.
