The visit of Prof. Ranga Rao, Adjunct Faculty, JSSAHER, was held from 24–27 November 2025 and included interactions with the Head and faculty of DHSMS, visits to JSS Hospital, meetings with programme coordinators, and sessions with students. Discussions covered programme structure, curriculum delivery, admissions, placements, infrastructure challenges, global campus planning, and opportunities for new programmes. Prof. Rao suggested strengthening training and assessing its impact, improving student inputs, internships and placements, enhancing pan-India admissions, updating pedagogy, conducting structured exit interviews, incentivising student referrals, and building stronger alumni engagement. He emphasised strengthening the MBA IT programme with additional faculty, improved internships in medical device industries, and possibly renaming it as Healthcare IT to avoid confusion. He highlighted the need for better branding, industry connect, advisory board formation, competency alignment with industry needs, and institutional development, along with planning an international conference at the upcoming global campus. Prof. Rao also interacted with first-year MBA students regarding industry expectations, skills, and career development, after which the department expressed gratitude for his valuable insights.
