School of Public Health, JSS AHER We are delighted to share that our 3-day intensive, hands-on Research Methodology Workshop (Part 1) has been successfully completed! Over 40+ aspiring researchers from various departments including Clinical Psychology, Medical Physiology, Medical College, Division of cognitive neuroscience and two Bachelor of Public health students from Padmashree School of Public Health, and PhD scholars participated and engaged in: ? Topic selection & framing objectives ? Literature review, conceptual & theoretical frameworks ? Study designs, sampling & sample size ? Reference managers (Zotero) ? Scientific writing & formatting ? Qualitative & mixed methods research ? Questionnaire development & validation ? Pilot study planning & Gantt chart creation The workshop blended interactive lectures, real-time exercises, software demonstrations, and detailed faculty guidance—empowering participants to refine their research proposals from idea to submission.
