JSSCP, Ooty - Celebrated ' World Pharmacists Day ' on Sep 25, 2025, with a vibrant blend of academic, professional, and student-centric initiatives.

Highlights of the Day

'Continuing Pharmacy Education' (CPE) Program organized by the Dept of Pharmacy Practice, in collaboration with the IPA Nilgiris Branch. The program was graced by Dr. Tamizhmozhi, Registrar, Tamil Nadu State Pharmacy Council, as the Chief Guest, who addressed practicing pharmacists and enriched the academic proceedings.

Demonstrating their professional spirit, students came together to form a human chain symbolizing the “ Symbol of Pharmacy” on the college grounds - an inspiring representation of unity, service, and commitment to the profession.

In line with the institution’s commitment to student welfare, an 'Education Loan Mela' was jointly organized with the District Administration, featuring the active participation of 13 leading banks from Ooty. The event offered on-the-spot account openings and same-day education loan sanctions. A proud moment was witnessed as 15 student beneficiaries received their education loan cheques, presented by the Chief Managers of the participating banks.
