The Department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery, JSS Hospital, Mysuru, The Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Mysore branch in Association with Indian Speech Language and Audiology Association, Mysuru chapter along with MMCRI, Manipal Hospitals, Apollo Hospitals, JSSISH and AIISH together organised a Walkathon on 2nd March 2025 from Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Mysuru Palace in connection with World Hearing Day. Theme for this year's World Hearing Day is 'Changing Mindsets: Empower yourself to make Ear and Hearing care a reality for all'. The walkathon was organised to spread this message among the general public. It was flagged off by our Chief Guest Shri Srivathsa, MLA, KR constituency, our Guests of Honour Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Vice Chancellor of JSSAHER, Dr.C.P.Madhu, Medical Superintendent of JSS Hospital and Dr.Pushpavathi, Director of AIISH. Nearly 250 ENT Surgeons and Audiologists from Mysuru participated in the event. ?
