The Novartis Internship Recruitment Drive at JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, held on 5th March 2025, was a well-structured event aimed at selecting talented students for an internship in Supply Operations. The process began with the psychometric test, which was conducted on February 14, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, allowing Novartis to assess the students’ cognitive abilities and suitability for the role. On the day of the recruitment drive, the event commenced with a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) with 35 students. The session provided insights into Novartis’ operations, career opportunities, and the significance of supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry. Following the pre-placement talk, a Group Discussion (GD) session began at 10:00 AM, where students were divided into two rooms, with each group consisting of 10 to 11 students seated in a semi-circular arrangement, evaluators assessing the students based on their communication skills, leadership potential, and problem-solving abilities. The interview process started at 11:00 AM, where students participated in one-on-one discussions with Novartis panellist’s assessing the students' technical knowledge, industry awareness and adaptability to a dynamic corporate environment On the final stage of the recruitment process, where the list of selected candidates was announced. Based on their performance throughout the selection rounds, five students were extended internship offers.
