On March 8, 2025, JSSDCH and JSSAHER, in association with the Women’s Dental Council (WDC) of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) Mysore Branch, successfully organized the “Her Walk, Her Health” walkathon to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event began at Mysore Town Hall and concluded at JSSDCH, with around 80 participants, including IDA life members, teaching and non-teaching staff, and maintenance personnel from JSSDCH

The walkathon was inaugurated by Dr. Dhakshaini M.R., Principal of JSSDCH, in the presence of IDA Mysore Branch office bearers, WDC convenors Dr. Brinda Godhi and Dr. Meenakshi, President Dr. Pramod, Treasurer Dr. Raghunath N., and Continuing Dental Education (CDE) convenor Dr. Ravi Kiran, who also joined the walkathon
