The Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, successfully organized an online guest lecture on “New Trends in Vaccine Technology” on 7th February 2025 at 3:00 PM. The event witnessed active participation from teaching staff, research scholars, and M. Pharm students. The distinguished speaker, Dr. Vasanth Raj Palanimuthu, provided an insightful session on the recent advancements in vaccine technology, covering topics such as mRNA vaccines, vector-based vaccines, nanoparticle-based vaccine delivery, and emerging challenges in vaccine development. His lecture also emphasized the role of biotechnology in enhancing vaccine efficacy and safety. Following the presentation, an interactive Q&A session was conducted, where participants engaged with Dr. Palanimuthu to clarify their doubts and discuss potential research directions in vaccine development.
