School of Life Sciences, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru is one of the pioneering institutions in the country to implement BSc Honors (4 years) programme, as per National Education Policy 2020. Research is an integral component of 8th semester BSc Honors, as per UGC guidelines. So, to orient students for research, Four Days Research Orientation Workshop Journey of Discovery: Unveiling Dreams Through Research was organized from 7th to 11th December 2024 by the Research Cell of School of Life Sciences, Mysuru. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, the Vice Chancellor of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, alongside Dr. Prashant M. Vishwanath, Dean (Research), Dr. KA Raveesha, Dean (Faculty of Life Sciences) and Dr. Siddesha JM, Organizing Secretary of the workshop.
