JSSCP, Ooty - The Dept of Pharm. Chemistry has successfully organized JSS AHER, Mysuru sponsored “Menstruation Health Awareness in Mudhumalai Tiger Reserve Tribal Villages : From Exclusion to Inclusion” (Series II) as follows
Bhudhanatham and Semmanatham tribal villages
Ms.N.S.Nisha, IPS, Superintendant of Police and Dr. P. Kanagambal, HoD (History), Govt Arts College, Ooty were the Chief guests and spoke on 'Menstruation Inclusion Policy'.
Sokkanalli tribal village
Mr. B. Sivakumar, Advocate, Women and Child Welfare, Ooty and Mr. Jagannathan, Sustainability Specialist, Australia acted as Chief guests and spoke on Mental Health during menstruation and available Govt schemes.
Village heads, about 50-70 women's and men's were attended these programs, and they were provided with Kit bags and lunch.
