JSSCP, Ooty - The Dept of Pharmacy Practice, jointly with the IPA NLB and Rotaract Club, organized a ' World Diabetes Day -2024 ' in the Ooty bus stand on Nov 14, 2024. Dr.K.P. Arun, VP and Branch Manager, SETC, inaugurated the camp.

Pamphlets were distributed to the public, and tree saplings were given to the winners. For about 63 people, measurements of BP, BMI and blood glucose levels, and patient counseling was done. Also, awareness videos were shown, highlighting the do's and don'ts for managing diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and obesity.
