On account of National Nutrition Week 2024 observed from September 1-7, with the theme “Nutritious diets for Everyone”, Department of Community Medicine from JSS Medical College conducted Just A Minute speech competition on 04.09.2024 at JSS High School, Ramapura. Participants were challenged to speak for one minute on various nutrition-related topics without hesitation, repetition, or deviation

The event was coordinated by Dr. Mythily M R, Assistant Professor, Dr. Sunitha Singh, Senior Resident, and Post graduates of Department of Community Medicine, along with the interns. The “Just a Minute” session for National Nutrition Week was a resounding success. It not only educated participants about the importance of nutrition but also fostered a sense of community and shared learning.

15 students participated actively and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize was won by Sapna from 9th grade, Chenajamma from 10th grade and Ananya from 9th grade respectively.
