JSS CP, Ooty & NSS unit of Govt Arts College (GAC), Ooty successfully organized 'World Suicide Prevention Day 2024' at GAC, Ooty on Sep 10, 2024.

t was inaugurated by Dr. Poornajith, District Mental Health Psychiatrist, and Prof. Aswin, NSS Coordinator of GAC, Ooty.

Pamphlets were distributed to the students, competitions like elocution, drawing, and poster creation were held and prizes awarded to the winners. Students performed various cultural activities focussing on suicide prevention.
