A breastfeeding awareness program was conducted on August 8th at Bandipalya Anganwadi Centre in Mysuru to educate expectant mothers about the benefits of breastfeeding. Master of Public health students from the School of Public Health, in collaboration with Anganwadi workers, organized the event as part of World Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2024. Through interactive sessions, including role-plays and question-and-answer forums, participants learned about the importance of breastfeeding and dispelled common misconceptions. The initiative aims to promote optimal maternal and child health in the community by providing essential information and support to expectant mothers.
