Dr. Akila Prashant, Professor & Head of the Department of Biochemistry at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, was felicitated at the 9th State Level Conference of the Association of Medical Biochemists Karnataka Chapter! The event was held at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, BG Nagar on July 11th & 12th, 2024. Dr. Akila was honored for her outstanding contributions, including her role as Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Medical Biochemistry, recognition by the ICMR as a Collaborating Center of Excellence, acknowledgment by the IFCC for the Professional Exchange Program, and selection by ICMR for the Taskforce on Establishing Reference Intervals in the Indian Population.
