On June 5th, the World Environment Day, students from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) participated in a tree planting event at the JSS High School campus in Bannimantap, Mysore. This initiative was aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and increasing green cover on the school campus. The Dean Dr. Raveesha - Faculty of Life Sciences at JSS AHER actively participated in the tree planting, emphasizing the institution's commitment to environmental protection. The Department Coordinator Dr. Gopenath TS, and Dr. Ramith Ramu, the Course Coordinator of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, also joined in the efforts, demonstrating strong leadership and support for the cause.
