Special Interest group AMR and Department of Microbiology had organized a symposium cum workshop on 22nd June, 2024 on topic AMR in One Health: Collaborative Strategies from Veterinary and Clinical Experts. The chief speaker of the session was Dr.Shivasharanappa N, Ph.D., Fulbright Scholar (USA), Senior Scientist ICAR-National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics (NIVEDI), Bangalore. This first SIG-AMR event was inaugurated by the chief speaker Dr.Shivasharanappa N; Dr.HBasavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College; Dr.Madhu C.P., Medical Superintendent, JSS Hospital, Dr.Prashanth Vishwanat, Dean (Research), JSS AHER and Dr.Tejashree A., Prof. and Head, Dept. of Microbiology. The sessions were attended by SIG members, faculty of various departments and students.
