NSS Unit JSS College of Pharmacy in association with JSS Red cross JSS Medical College, Mysuru organized a Blood donation camp on the occasion of world blood donors day on 8th June 2024. The program was inaugurated by Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, and Dr Pallavi. P Associate Professor Department of pathology JSS Hospital, Mr. Satish Chandra Administrative officer, JSS Medical College, Dr Smitha Assistant Professor department of community medicine JSS Medical College, NSS Coordinator and NSS Program officers of both college were present. More than 50 students registered and screened for their eligibility to donate the blood through their blood pressure, weight, blood group matching and other procedures. The eligible volunteers were selected for blood donation and a total of 40 units of blood were collected from the student volunteers.
