One day workshop on essential clinical skills was conducted for Interns 2019-20 odd batch at JSSAHER skill & simulation centre on 13.06.2024. 20 interns attended the workshop and underwent hands on training in procedural skills. There was a lecture class on protocols to be followed during blood transfusion followed by skill training stations. Hands-on training sessions were conducted on Intravenous line insertion, Ryle’s tube insertion, catheterisation, suturing, basic airway management, lumbar puncture, Non-invasive ventilation & centreline insertion. They also had hands on training on wound care management, POP application, splinting and aseptic techniques. Staff from departments of orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, Anaesthesia & critical care facilitated the workshop.
