The Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology at JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysuru, organized a National Webinar on June 19, 2024, in celebration of International Museum Day. The program was presided over by Dr. Dhakshaini MR, Principal of JSSDC&H, and Vice Principal Dr. Jaishankar HP, along with Dr. Vidya CS, Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy, Dr. Vidya G. Doddawad, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, and Dr. Usha Hegde, Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology

Dr. Jaishankar in his guest note emphasized the significance of museums at educational institutions. Dr. Vidya CS, Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, JSS Medical College delivered a lecture on “ Museum Techniques – The Past, Present and Future”. The program began with an inaugural function, followed by an informative and interactive session with the resource person. The program was in hybrid mode and was attended by about 150 delegates on both offline and online modes

The program concluded with a vote of thanks and photo sessions, and feedback was collected about the program's content. All participants highly appreciated the program and expressed their interest in attending workshop programs in the future.
