The handon Workshop - “Basic Recap of Neuroanatomy for Postgraduate Students”, was held on 11-05-2024 jointly organised by department of Anatomy and Department of General Medicine Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa (Principal), Sri Satish Chandra S.R. (Administrative officer), Dr.Y.S.Ravi Kumar (Professor and Head, Department of General Medicine), Dr.Vidya C.S. (Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy), Dr.Prashanth S.N. (Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics), Dr. Shasthara (Associate Professor, Department of Neurology), Dr.Srinath K.M. (Professor, Department of General Medicine) graced the inauguration ceremony. Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College and Hospital, delivered the keynote address highlighting the practical applications of neuroanatomy research in clinical settings, including the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Hands-on Sessions Introduction and overview of CNS Dr. Vidya CS, Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy provided a brief introduction began by elucidating the fundamental structure of the spinal cord, Dr. Shasthara discussed about related clinical correlations and enlightened the attendees at the end of each session. Dr. Uma Shivanal, Senior resident, Dr. Maruthy Prasad, Assistant Professor, Dr. Rashmi Goshi Associate Professor conducted hands on sessions At the end post-test evaluation was conducted it provided valuable insights into participants’ learning outcomes and the effectiveness of workshop interventions. Conclusion: The workshop provided participants with valuable insights and practical skills in Neuroanatomy and its clinical correlations.
