Health Camp as part of World Hypertension Day 2024 at KR Mills, as part of World Hypertension day 2024, Department of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College, Mysuru organised a health camp at K R Mills subcentre under Hanchya PHC of Mysuru district on 18.05.2024. Dr Shweta N Kurkuri and Dr Sunitha Singh, and postgraduates from the Dept of Community Medicine along with Dr Shayari, Dept of OBG, Dr Charan, Dept of General Medicine, Dr Mounika and Dr Anusha, Dept of Paediatric were part of the camp. More than 120 people were benefited from the camp. They were also screened for diabetes, hypertension, anaemia. Dr Ravindra, Hanchya PHC Medical Officer inaugurated the rally for creating the awareness about Hypertension. As a part of Family Adoption Program, First year MBBS students also actively took part in the camp and rally and creating the awareness about hypertension among the community.
