On International Statistical Day, 21st May 2024, a one-day workshop on JMP software was held at JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysore. The event was organized by the Research Section of JSS AHER. Dr.Muralidhara A, Ph.D., JMP Academic Program Ambassador, conducted the workshop, which was designed for the faculty of JSS Medical and Dental Colleges. A licensed version of JMP software, version 17 Pro, was installed on the laptops of every participant to facilitate hands-on training. The workshop was attended by faculty members from all pre-clinical, paraclinical, and clinical departments of the medical discipline, as well as all departments of the dental discipline. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr.Prashant Vishwanath (Dean Research, JSS AHER) and Dr.Madhu B. (Deputy Dean Research, JSS AHER), along with Dr.Dakshaini, Principal, JSS Dental College and Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Vice-Principal, (para-clinical) from JSS Medical College along with Dr.Muralidhara A., Ph.D., JMP Academic Program Ambassador. The workshop provided comprehensive training in statistical analysis and data visualization, equipping faculty members with valuable skills for their research endeavors. The event was a significant step towards enhancing the research capabilities of JSS Medical and Dental Colleges.
