Department of Anatomy, JSS Medical College organised International Museum Day on 23rd May 2024. “Poster making competition” for I year MBBS students of 2023-24 batch and “Museum visit” by Medical Physics Students, School of Life Science, JSS AHER. The theme of this year International Museum Day was, “Museums for Education and Research,” underscores the pivotal role of cultural institutions in providing a holistic educational experience. On 23/05/2024 at 11 am the Medical Physics Students, School of Life Science, JSS AHER visited the Anatomy Museum. The specimens and digitalization was appreciated by the students. The students had prepared the posters before and it was displayed on the day of the competition in the Department. Dr.K.T.Chandra Shekar, Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute Mysore and Dr.Rekha T.S., Associate Professor, Department of Pathology, JSS Medical College, Mysore were the judges for the competition. The competition was visited and appreciated by the Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College and Mysore. This was followed by prize distribution ceremony which was graced by Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Vice-Principal, (Para Clinical), JSS Medical College, Sri. Satishchandra S.R., Administrative Officer, JSS Medical College, Dr.Vidya C.S., Professor and Head of Department of Anatomy, Dr.K.T.Chandra Shekar, and Dr.Rekha T.S., Dr.Shwetha K. Senior Resident of Anatomy co-ordinated the program
