The Department of Pharmacy Practice at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, in collaboration with IPA Nilgiris local branch, Rotaract Club Nilgiris West, and Rotaract Club of JSSCP, conducted a significant event focused on raising awareness about safety and health at work. Sponsored by JSSAHER, Mysuru, the program aimed to educate individuals on preventive measures in emergency scenarios, such as fire accidents and the importance of first aid, particularly CPR. The event took place at the Municipal Market, Ooty.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. M. Deepalakshmi, Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, who emphasized the significance of workplace safety and the adverse effects of substance abuse and alcohol on health. The chief guest, Rajamohammed, President, and Sekar, Joint Secretary of the Municipal Market, were honored during the opening.
