The NSS Unit JSS College of Pharmacy in association with the Department of Pharmaceutics organized gender inequality in terms of education, prevailing in our society and socioeconomic situations at Taripura village Shrirangapattana taluk, Mandya district on 5th March 2024 at 5.45pm in the rama manidar temple. Dr Preethi.S Lecturer from the Department of Pharmaceutics organized the skit (II B.pharm students) and actively promoted the importance of education for the betterment of our society and how children belonging to low-income households are suffering from a lack of education. To uplift the livelihood and per capita income of the villagers requires education which was seen to be lacking among the youth. Overall, the villagers were active and interacted actively and the event was successful. More than 260 villagers along with the college students, thanushree and team (II B.Pharm)were present in the skit during the awareness program. To uplift the livelihood and per capita income of the villagers requires education which was seen to be lacking among the youth. The importance of primary and secondary schooling was emphasized in this skit. The staff also interacted to reduce inequalities in income as well as those based on age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic status. The skit received an enthusiastic and positive response from the villagers who greatly benefitted from this outreach program and skit.
