As part of National Pharmacovigilance Week-2022, awareness sessions were organized across hospitals in Mysuru. Senior faculty members from selected hospitals recorded video messages in both English and Kannada languages to educate the general public on the safe and proper use of medicines, as well as the importance of identifying and reporting adverse drug reactions. These informative videos were distributed to groups of doctors, patients, and shared on various social media platforms on September 17, 2021, emphasizing the significance of patient safety in healthcare. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about pharmacovigilance practices and encourage active participation in reporting adverse drug reactions, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of medication safety and quality of care in the community.
