A self-defence session was organized for dental students and faculty on 13th March, 2024 in JSS Dental College & Hospital’s by the members of Internal Complaints Committee, providing essential skills and knowledge to enhance personal safety in various situations

The session was graced by our Principal Dr. Dhakshaini M R and senior members of the Internal Complaints Committee Dr. Sheela Gujjari, Dr. Annapoorna, Dr. Vidya Priyadarshini and Dr. Sowmya

Led by an experienced instructor Mr. Malthesh, the session offered a comprehensive curriculum covering various maneuvers and techniques for protecting oneself in harmful situations

Through hands-on practice sessions and interactive discussions, participants gained confidence in identifying potential threats and responding effectively, ensuring their ability to protect themselves and others

After the successful completion of special self defence programme, the committee decided to conduct these classes for undergraduates, postgraduates as well as for teaching and non-teaching staff. The sessions will be organized once a year
