The JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru organized National Pharmacy Education Day & Annual Day celebrations on 06th March 2024. Prof. M. L. Schroff is recognized as the Father of Pharmacy Education in India. The Pharmacy Council of India has decided to recognize the contribution of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff who is a Father of Pharmacy Education in India by declaring his 'Birth Anniversary' as National Pharmacy Education Day on 6th March, 2024. The students were briefed about Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff and his contributions to Pharmacy Educations in India. Mr. Chethan I A, Lecturer, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru formally welcomed the dignitaries and guests. Dr. Anil Kumar R, Senior Vice President & Head-R&D, Strides Pharma Science Limited, Bengaluru was the chief guest for the event. Dr. B.N. Nandini, Additional Superintendent of Police (SP), Mysuru District was the Guest of Honour. The function began with lighting the lamp followed by the college annual report from Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru. Dr. Manjunatha B, Registrar, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru was the special invitee for the function.
