With the blessings of His Holiness, the Department of Microbiology at JSSMC hosted a webinar on March 4th 2024 on the topic “Revolutionizing Healthcare - Role of AI in Infectious Diseases”. We had an overwhelming 300 registrations for the event, and most of them attended the session with due enthusiasm. Dr. Tavpritesh Sethi, a renowned AI physician, was the speaker. Dr. Sethi discussed in detail the basics of AI applications in healthcare and also provided insights on research ideas including federated data management and AI models. The webinar session was chaired by Dr. Subhashchandra, Professor in the Department of Medicine, and Dr. Tejashree A, Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology.
