Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry had organized preconference workshop on computer aided drug design in the computer aided drug design laboratory of the department on 29th February 2024 on the eve of AVISCON. The workshop was held From Morning 9 AM to Evening 6 PM with a lunch break at 1 PM. There were 16 participants from different backgrounds and different colleges, different places. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Koushik Kasavajhala, Senior Scientist, Schrodinger. The workshop started with preworkshop questionnaire to assess the understanding levels of the participants on the workshop topic. The workshop was conducted on topics like Molecular modeling, Molecular docking, Molecular dynamics simulations and QSAR. Followed by the workshop there was a postworkshop questionnaire and adjudged two participants as best participants, namely, Mr. Prajwal Manohar and Ms. PoojaKoganole. The participants rated the workshop as excellent in their feedback.
