With the blessings of His Holiness, Department of Geriatrics in association with Brahmakumari spiritual university, Mysore and Mysore District health and family welfare department conducted a symposium on ‘Integrated Care for Older people ‘to General practitioners and Health Officers on 17th December, 2023 at Gyan Sarovar retreat centre, Mysore.

The program was inaugurated by DHO Dr Kumaraswamy, DSO Dr Mahadev Prasad, Dr.Sunil Kumar - HOD of Community Medicine , JSSMCH, Dr.Shilpa Avarebeel, Associate Professor, Dept. of Geriatric, JSSMCH , and Dr.Jayram , President of GP Association, Mysore in divine presence of Brahmakumari zonal Head Sister Lakshmi.

Dr.Mahesh Hemadri ,elderly care practitioner from Mt Abu lead the workshop. Around 250 practitioners attended the workshop and completed successfully.
