An Awareness Programme on World AIDS Day 2023 was conducted by JSS Urban Health Center, Department of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College, JSS AHER, Mysuru in Government High School, Medar Block, Bamboo Bazaar on 01.12.2023.

Dr. H.V Rama, Lady Medical Officer, JSS Urban Health Centre delivered a guest lecture to the school students on the theme of World AIDS day 2023 – “Let communities lead”. This was followed by interactive session.

Smt Pushapavathi, Head Mistress of Government High school urged the students to know about the disease, its prevention and also spread the awareness to others. She thanked JSS UHC and Department of Community Medicine for conducting a programme.

Staffs of Government Higher Primary school and 78 Students attended the programme.
