The International Tuberculosis Conclave 2023 was inaugurated by Sri Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy of India in the presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. The conclave is on the theme 'Accelerating progress towards a TB-Free World: Innovations, Challenges, and Solutions' held at JSS Medical College, Mysuru from 22nd to 24th Nov 2023.

The event was presided over by Hon'ble Minister for Home, Electricity, Education, Industries & Commerce, Govt of Puducherry Shri A. Namassivayam. The chief guest was Dr. Salil Bhargava Dean, of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.

The conclave brought together experts from around the world to discuss the latest advances in TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. It also provided a platform for stakeholders to share their experiences and work together to develop strategies to eliminate TB from India.

Central Government under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is committed to working towards a TB-free India and believes that the International Tuberculosis Conclave 2023 is an important step in this direction.
