The Anti-Ragging Committee of JSS Dental College & Hospital organized a talk on 'Awareness of Ragging & It's Consequences' by Dr. Shiva Sharan Shetty, Indian Dental Association, Head Office, Senate Member, RGUHS, Bengaluru on 22nd November 2023. The Resource Faculty emphasized the significance of creating a safe and welcoming environment in educational institutions and also discussed the roles of students, faculty, and administration in preventing ragging. The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Principal & Dean, Dr. Dhakshaini M R and Vice Principal, Dr. Jaishankar H P. The Event was well appreciated by the audience. The Program was organized as part of the Anti-Ragging Awareness Week by the Anti-Ragging Committee comprising of Dr. Ashwini T S, Co-ordinator & Team Members - Dr. Avinash, Dr. Seema, Dr. Paras, Dr. Sunitha, Dr. Satish, Dr. Nitin Muralidhar, Dr. Priyanka Nitin & Dr. Nagabhushan.

The talk shed light on the multifaceted aspects of ragging and the imperative need to eradicate this practice. It urged all stakeholders, including students, faculty, and administration, to collaborate and actively work towards creating a culture of respect and empathy.
