Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute (KSTRI) Mysuru under “Health and Hygiene for Tribal Population” initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India is organizing health camp at Ashrama Schools for Tribal children in Mysore district. The 6th camp was organized on 02.11.2023 at Shettihalli and Kolavige Ashrama school, Hunsur Taluk. Doctors from JSS Hospital (Dr Kiran, Dept. of Pediatrics) JSS Dental College & Hospital (Dr Indira MD, Dept. of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry and Dept of Public health Dentistry), and Dr Deepa, JSS Medical College, Dept. of Community Medicine along with post graduates and interns participated in the camp. 134 children were screened for general and oral health. 78 received primary caries preventive therapy.
