The Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM), Mysuru chose Dr. Dhanalakshmi, a budding public health aspirant from the School of Public Health, JSS Medical College, JSS AHER, to represent India at the UNESCO Youth Boot Camp in Pollica, Italy, which was held from September 3 to September 9 of 2023 and brought together young people from all over the world to address important issues of racism and discrimination in their communities. This intense five-day program was organized by UNESCO's International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities (ICCAR) and sponsored by UNAR with the goal of equipping young people with the information and abilities required to promote inclusion and sustainability.
