The Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) is a service organization of dentists whose members are selected for their dedication to the art and science of dentistry, and for their contribution to its professional literature. PFA would entitle for the institute of the country to nominate one undergraduate dental intern from the institute who has contributed to the Dental Literature/ Research and S R Neha of BDS batch 2018-19 was nominated in recognition of her outstanding performance and dedication. She is been selected for the prestigious PIERRE FAUCHARD INTERNATIONAL SENIOR STUDENT AWARD 2023. Hearty congratulations to her. She is one among the 15 students selected from all Dental Colleges across the country, for all round excellence and proficiency in Research, Academics, Sports and Cultural’s. The Award will be presented during the 37th Annual Convocation and Awards Ceremony of Pierre Fauchard Academy to be held in December 2023. Neha had started this journey by volunteering for the position of class representative and has presented her leadership skills as Organising secretary of the Student Scientific Convention SSC-2022 convened from Dental Education Unit. In 2020 she applied for the ICMR STS and later on showed her interest in research and is currently involved with research projects and authored three publications during her Undergraduation. She has also attended various National and Regional Dental conferences and won many prizes. On behalf of Dental Education Unit and Institute we wish her for continued success in her career and all of her future endeavours.
