National Service Scheme (NSS) unit JSS Medical College, Mysuru organized the event under the eve of 76th Independence Day celebrations under the slogan “Meri Maati, Mera Desh” on 8th August 2023. The event saw active participation from 25 dedicated student volunteers who represented their respective states adorned in traditional attires. The highlight of the event was the solemn oath-taking ceremony, where the students pledged their commitment towards social service and community development. The patriotic fervor was evident as the participants recited the pledge, expressing their devotion to the country with the heartfelt rendition of 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh.' The event aligned with the upcoming 76th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2023, emphasizing the importance of unity and patriotism. The occasion served as a platform for the students to showcase their cultural diversity and national pride, while reaffirming their dedication to serving the community through NSS initiatives. The programme was conducted in the garden JSS medical college campus. The whole event was coordinated by the student Ms. Purna Bansal, 3rd year MBBS.
