Organized value-added course on Recent Advances in Medicinal Chemistry. This value-added course was for the M. Pharm students and Ph.D. scholars of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. In this value-added course24students and scholars have attended this course. The course stressed the recent advances in the field of computer-aided drug design such as simulations. To enhance their skills in organic synthesis, purification, and analysis. Further, spectral analysis with the latest advances such as 2D NMR, cell culture, and antimicrobial screening. Prof. RajshekarKarpoormath, from the University of Kwazalu-Natal, Durban, South Africa was the primary resource person apart from the faculty members of the department. All the participants rated the course as excellent in their feedback. Dr. BR Prashantha Kumar and Dr. H Yogish Kumar were the coordinators.
