Dr.Prashant Vishwanath, Dean (Research) & Professor of Biochemistry, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, and Dr. Akila Prashant, Professor & Head, Department of Biochemistry, JSS Medical College were invited as guest speakers in the CME on Awareness towards laboratory based screening and diagnosis of genetic and inborn error of metabolism organised by the Department of Biochemistry, Medical College Baroda and SSG Hospital Vadodara on 2nd July 2023 under the aegis of AMBI Gujarat chapter. Dr.Prashant spoke on “Basic panel of newborn screening” and Dr. Akila spoke on “Maternal Serum markers for Prenatal screening”. The event was attended by more than 150 faculty and postgraduate students across the state of Gujarat.
