Hands on cadaveric Anatomy workshop” was organized by Physiotherapist Mr Tejraj , MMCRI Mysuru in association with Department of Anatomy JSS Medical college Mysuru on 15th July 2023 for Yoga and fitness trainers.

Dr. Vidya C S, Professor and Head, Dept of Anatomy, JSS Medical College welcomed all the participants on behalf JSS Medical College. She thanked Dr Basavanagowdappa Principal JSS Medical college, Dr Suma MN Vice Principal (Pre-clinical), Dr Praveen Kulkarni Vice Principal (Para clinical), Mr S R Satish Chandra Administrative officer for their support.

A brief talk on Muscular system was delivered by Dr Uma Shivanal. Demonstration of different body parts along with concerned bone – Upper limb was done by Dr Shwetha K with a brief preview stressing upon different muscle layers and its actions. Demonstration of Lower limb parts with concerned bones was done by Dr Poonam DN. Museum tour was taken over by Dr Hemamalini and briefed about the museum specimens. Abdominal organs were demonstrated by Dr Maruthy Prasad giving a brief introduction to its location, functions and its clinical conditions. Dr Rashmi C Ghoshi demonstrated brain and peripheral nervous system, its coverings, position, functions and nerve injuries. Feedback was obtained by the participants and they gave overwhelming positive response and appreciated the preservation of specimens. The program was concluded thanking Mr Tejraj S, Organizer and Program coordinator, Physiotherapist at MMCRI, Mysuru.
