School of Life Sciences held its annual fest, JEEVAM 2023. The fest had both sports and cultural activities. The sports meet was held between 1st and 3rd June 2023. The event started with a flashmob. Dr. M.R. Savitha Prashanth, Ekalavya Awardee 2022 and Dr. Vishal Kumar Gupta Dean (Academics), JSS AHER inaugurated the sports meet along with Prof. Raveesha KA, Head, School of Life Sciences, JSS AHER Mr. Lokeshappa Physical and Cultural director, and Dr. Kanthesh BM, Sports coordinator, School of Life Sciences, Mysuru, were also present. Following the Flashmob, Mr. Rahul Deshpande, being the torchbearer, carried the torch to the ground followed by a student procession. About 20 events were held which included individual and group events for both men and women categories. Athletic events were 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, Shot put, Javelin throw, Long jump, 4*100 relay and Discuss throw, and group events were Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Throwball, Table tennis, Chess, Carrom, Kabaddi and Tug of war.
