Department of Environmental Science, JSS AHER organized a walkathon marking the occasion of World Environment Day, to spread awareness on BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION, the theme of World Environment Day 2023. Dr. Raveesha KA, Head, School of Life Sciences, Mysuru and Life Sciences Departments, JSS AHER flagged off the rally and urged the young generation to adopt eco - friendly lifestyle. The students from Dept. of Environmental Science, NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers and faculty joined the event. The participants displayed various messages on the eco-friendly lifestyle and sustainability for public awareness in the form of banners and placards.
