Department of Anatomy organized Museum visit and awareness program on the occasion of International Museum Day 2023 with the theme : 'Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing' on 18th May 2023.

The students of Mysore Science Foundation visited the Anatomy Museum.

The Inaugural Program was graced by Sri Satish Chandra S R, Administrative Officer, JSS Medical College, Dr.Vidya C.S., Professor and HOD of Anatomy, Dr.Pushpalatha K, Professor of Anatomy, Dr.Prasanna Kumar, Associate Professor of Biochemistry, Sri G.B.Santosh Kumar, Secretary of Mysore Science Foundation, Dr.Hemamalini S, Associate Professor of Anatomy, Smt.Shilpa, Assistant Administrative Officer, JSS Medical College. Dr.Ravishankar M.V. introduced the chief guest Dr.Vinutha S.P. proposed the vote thanks. Dr.Poonam D.N. mastered the ceremony.

Dr.Hemamalini S., gave an Overview about the Anatomy Museum. This was followed by a museum tour, which was guided by volunteers from 1st MBBS students.

The teachers and students gave positive feedback about the program. They appreciated the wide range of displays of dissected and plastinated specimens.
