As a part of World TB Day awareness in association with NSS unit awareness was given on TB to students and the public of Ballenahalli, Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya district. A talk was given to students and their knowledge of TB was tested through questionnaires. The students were educated on the history, symptoms and clinical samples to diagnose TB along with the cause of the upsurge of TB during the COVID period. The practice of a healthy lifestyle, and nutritional food factors that can control and prevent TB was addressed. With brochures and pamphlets received by District TB Centres, awareness was made to spread to the public through the students.
