One day industrial visit was organized by department of pharmaceutical biotechnology to GeNei Laboratory Pvt limited , Bangalore . Two faculties Dr. Rajeshkumar and Dr.Vasanth Raj accompanied the students. The purpose of the visit was to inculcate more knowledge in molecular biology Techniques and to interact with the industry experts .Various molecular biology techniques were lively demonstrated for the benefit of students in the area of proteomics and genomics. Molecular biology techniques such as protein isolation and purification, Chromatography techniques, DNA extraction, and purification was also demonstrated. During the visit students and faculty had an interaction with the industry experts and observed the industry needs which will be helpful for them in the future.
