The training programme on “Chromatography, Spectroscopy and Microscopy” conducted at Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) Kottayam and St. Dominic’s college was mainly focussed train the participants on basics of LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Fluroscence spectrophotometer with lifetime detector and few other instruments. The inauguration programme was held on 28th November 2022 at the auditorium. The welcome speech was given by MS. Shiny Thomas, training convenor at MGU, then the programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The Vice-Chancellor of the Mahatma Gandhi University gave the inaugural address. Prof. Dr. C T Aravindakumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Coordinator SAIF Centre, MGU briefed about the DST-SAIF Centre at MGU and also about the training programme. Dr. Prashant M Vishwanath, Dean (Research), JSS Academy of Higher Educational & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru. Spoke on the DST-STUTI scheme. Finally, the inaugural program was conducted by vote of thanks given by Dr. Dhanya B E project coordinator, JSS AHER, Mysuru.
