National Integration camp at Adhichuchangiri University, BG Nagara

The National integration camp was organized by Adhichuchangiri university, BG Nagar in association with regional director of NSS, Govt. of India and universities/directorates in Karnataka at various places in Karnataka. The camp as held from 29.12.2022 to 04.01.2023 for a period of 7days. A Total of 15 states NSS Volunteers attended this program and from our college 6 Volunteers were taken part in this camp. The Day 1 Started off with breakfast from 7.30am to 8.30am. The NIC Volunteers were taken to the Adhichuchangiri campus for inauguration. The Program was commenced with cultural events at 10am followed by motivational talk by all the organizers. The lunch was served at 1.30pm. The team formation activity was carried out at 5.30pm with aim of interacting all 15 states NSS Volunteers and program officers to carry out the activities effectively. The activities like serving dinner, flag hoisting, preparing for cultural activities was carried out by our NSS Volunteers. The Day 2 started by hosting the flag at 5.30am with the integration camp organizers and 15 states NSS Volunteers. At 6.30am all the volunteers assembled for the Yoga and exercise in the Adhichuchangiri campus. The breakfast was served at 7.30am and was taken to Haddinakallu Hill to clean the area. The activity was carried out till 1.00pm followed by lunch from 1-2pm and interaction with NSS Program officers, flag hoisting, cultural events and Dinner. The Day 3 begins with hosting the flag at 5.30am followed by yoga and exercise at 6.30am and breakfast was served at 7.30am. The Plant sapling activity was performed nearby school from 9.00am -11.00am. A total of 17 Plant sapling was done by our Volunteers. The day continues with technical session by Sri MK Shankarlinge gowda (Rtd IAS) at 11.30am. He emphasis on Cultures of India and their importance. The lunch was served at 1.00pm-2.00pm followed by poster making and cultural events at 2.00pm followed by flag hoisting, cultural events and Dinner. The Day 4 begins with hosting the flag at 5.30am followed by yoga and exercise at 6.30am and breakfast was served at 7.30am. followed by visiting to the historical places like Hassan, Belur, Halebeedu, arasikere was carried out during the camp. The lunch was given at 2.30pm and continues to visit the historical places like Kasturba Gandhi ashrama etc. The day ends with flag hoisting, cultural events and Dinner. The Day 5 begins with hosting the flag at 5.30am followed by yoga and exercise at 6.30am and breakfast was served at 7.30am followed by Technical Session of Life Skills for 21 st Century Youth was performed. The lunch was given at 1.00- 2.00pm and interactions with NSS Program officers and volunteers, technical session by Dr W.P Krishna. The day ends with flag hoisting, cultural events and Dinner. The Day 6 begins with hosting the flag at 5.30am followed by yoga and exercise at 6.30am and breakfast was served at 7.30am-8.30am. The ethnic day was celebrated with cultural events from 9.00am-1.00pm. The lunch was served at 1.00-2.00pm followed by Integration Jathra in the bellur, deepostava with Unity Pledge at 6.00-8.00pm and dinner. The day 7 begins with hosting the flag at 5.30am followed by yoga and exercise at 6.30am and breakfast was served at 7.30am-8.30am and Rangoli competition from 9.00am-11.00am and flag de- hoisting at 11.30am, valedictory program and lunch at 1.00pm. The NSS Volunteers express their gratitude towards Principal & Dean JSS College of Pharmacy, NSS Program Coordinator JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, NSS Program Officer JSSCPM. The national integration camp was useful for our Volunteers.
