JSSAHER, Mysuru & DST-STUTI sponsored 7-days training program on “Basic Techniques in Pharmaceutical Formulations, Analytical and Preclinical Studies” conducted by DST-FIST Supported department, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacology from 27-6-22 to 3-7-22

JSSAHER, Mysuru & DST-STUTI sponsored 7- days training program organized on “Basic Techniques in Pharmaceutical Formulations, Analytical and Preclinical Studies” which included approximately 30% theory and 70% of practical training components. Participants were from across the country with different disciplines like medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, food technology, biochemistry, etc. The training was given in 3 phases consisting of 2 days each in the departments of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacology. Seeking the blessings of his holiness Jagadguru Swamiji, the inauguration program was held on 27/06/2022 at 9:00 am. The function started with Thamizhthai Vazhthu and Prayer song. Then the dignitaries and participants were welcomed by Dr. S.P. Dhanabal, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty. The formal opening was performed by Lighting of Kuthuvilaku by the respected dignitaries. Dr. Prashant V, Program Coordinator, and Research Director JSS AHER, Mysuru addressed the gathering by giving them an insight into the genesis training program and its importance. The chief guest Dr. Surinder Singh, Vice Chancellor, the guest of honor and Dr. Pramod Kumar T.M, Dean of pharmacy faculty, JSSAHER and Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru conveyed their view about the training program and importance of the institute in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The presidential address was given by Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. The coordinators of the program, Dr. K. Gowthamarajan, HOD, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, Dr. N. Krishnaveni, HOD, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Dr. T.K. Praveen, HOD, Dept of Pharmacology addressed the gathering stating the diversity of the participants and the flow of training program for the upcoming 7 days.
